The Masonic Fraternity
The Masonic Fraternity is the oldest Fraternity in the world. The Wyoming Masonic Family includes Freemasons as well as organizations for their ladies, couples, and youth. The primary tenets of our Fraternity are Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.

Wyoming Masonic History
The first known Masonic meeting in Wyoming took place at Independence Rock on July 4th, 1862. Asa L. Brown served as Master of that first communication. Brother Asa later presented the Grand lodge with the Bible and cardboard cut-out, square and compasses used on that first altar.
Cheyenne Masonic Temple History
The Cheyenne Masonic Temple is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. More history can be found on the website of the State Historic Preservation Office
